As soon as I saw Saint Aymes start popping up on Instagram, I knew I had to get as fast as I could to this crazy beautiful place and try their 23ct gold unicorn lattes (“they’re pink!” I kept squealing at all my friends).
So of course I dragged all-weird-things lover Arax along with me, and because London was in unusually bright spirits and the weather was so nice, we took a walk through Paddington, stopping along the way to take photos in the many pretty mews hidden away there.

After soaking up the sun (and cold), we were more than ready to sit down and treat ourselves to something warm (and sweet), and luckily we managed to find seats in front of the gorgeous wisteria-decorated storefront.
As soon as I opened the menu I knew what I would be ordering (I can’t resist any drink that is colourful), but little could have prepared me for the nicest surprise- the ability to have my latte made with coconut milk! Ever since first trying it a few weeks ago in yogurt, I’ve really loved it with my drinks, and it was as good as it could be with my latte.
We’d also gone with the rose tea, which was super lovely. Arax and I love having tea in the late morning after breakfast, and Saint Aymes, with its unique menu and gorgeous seating area, was the perfect place to spend it.

I have to add that our waiter at Saint Aymes was so kind and really accommodating with our drinks. I quit sugar a couple of years ago and it’s the hardest thing when a drink that looks (and I’m pretty sure tastes too) incredible can only be made with sugar, but here I was served the latte with the sweet cream, syrup, chocolate and gold pieces on the side (much to the delight of Arax, who ate it all..) and I could finally enjoy a non-sugary drink that looked gorgeous (and tasted great too!). Huge thanks to the wonderful team!
We could have sat outside admiring the flowers forever, but when we went inside to buy the gold-decorated chocolate (a must when you are coming here), we discovered that the interior of Saint Aymes was just as Instagramable as its exterior!
Sweet dreams do come true in London.
