Us London locals normally avoid tourist hotspots like the plague, and yet here I am still regularly visiting Peggy Porschen, easily one of the most iconic and popular cafes in London (what?!). Truth be told, while Peggy Porschen’s cakes- probably the main item people go for when visiting- are a little too sweet for me, my secret favourite is their coconut milk lattes, which are easily one of the best in London!
I’d been looking for another reason to visit Peggy Porschen their coconut lattes and after hearing that Peggy had gone all festive I couldn’t resist dragging Andrew (who had never been) and Arax (who had been too many times) for a long philosophical discussion over some tea and coffee. The weather was so perfect too, with clouds floating against the pretty blue sky, so we took a walk around while we waited for the lunchtime crowds to disperse. Peggy Porschen is best visited after breakfast or after lunch, when less people need a snack to eat 😉 You can find the best tables then!

Andrew went with a latte with caramel syrup, which was apparently amazing, while I picked the less sweet coconut milk latte. I love Peggy Porschen’s mylk latte because the sweetness comes entirely from the rice milk that is mixed with the coconut milk; it’s a fragrant and tasty drink that I can’t go a day without! Arax chose the Earl Grey tea, which was light and scentful and I couldn’t help but get excited over the fact that all our drinks made for a very colourful set indeed hahah;) It’s always such a wonderful time at Peggy Porschen, and I definitely recommend using the excuse of seeing their gorgeous winter makeover to stop for a latte (or two!).
